First, the emissions law hasn't passed yet. It sits in front of Arnold right now and I for one doubt it will pass him. Second, yeah, CA is pretty strict on street racing. Even just speeding in a nice car nets you a mind game and a ticket. By speeding, I mean doing what traffic normally does, like 45-50 in a 35 that needs to be at least a 40. I had one cop follow me to my bank and watch me deposit money into my account. WTF?!?!?!?! BTW, excuse me if my mood starts to change, I've got Metallica playing and I'm tired along with frustrated. Anyways, there's no freakin' way they'll crush your car, esp. when they can make money off of it by auctioning it off. Plus, if they would open up more legal drag races they would notice street racing drop. I know it wouldn't vanish, but I'm sure more people would rather pay $15 to race all night rather than run the risk of getting caught. Stupid Democrats.

I suspect you haven't heard the end of this one yet. Wait until Insurance Companies and Banks get involved. If your car is insurered and financed and the state crushes it, I can only imagine what kind of commotion that will cause.

As is usually the case, the lawmakers never think these things thru properly.

I was gonna post this when I first heard about it, but Jay beat me to it! There was a segment about it on the news, and the first clip they showed, was of a nice 3rd gen Camaro getting flattened by a falling metal object! I was truly disgusted
