i changed my spark plugs today, and in doing so i unplugged the left knock sensor and slid the starter past it to get to #6 and #8, so i got all done slid the starter back and bolted it in. then started the car and got an imidate engine light, only then did i remember to plug in the sensor. so i jacked it back up and plugged in the sensor. drove it until it went into closed loop and the light came on and it went into gimp mode. i went back home and pluged it into my laptop and got a code 43. knock sensor failure. i cleared the code and started the car, and presto, it was back on, same code. i am now
for it to cool off enough to reach back up there and try disconnecting and reconnecting the sensor. its only a one pin snap on connector, any ideas why if the connector was snapped in it would do this?
