hey guys I had a rather lengthy question about some problems i experienced shortly today. I was driving out today on some open roads crusin at 45-50mph and when i hit my brakes my stereo cut out, my radar cut out, odometer trip setting,( not total mileage) and the air bag light flicked on and my speedometer jumped from like 45 to 55 for a split second. Then every thing reseted and went back on. Then it happened like 2 more times. Rememebr this is whenevr I hit my brakes.
So I park it when I get to where Im goin and let it sit for 20 mins. Then i drive home fine and its been fine for the past 6 hours. It hasent done it anymore tonight. I have to see what tomorrow brings. Hopefuly nothing bad.
My friend's Camaro V6 broke down yesterday. Battery went out or something. But any way back to focus. Is there some kind of power short here? It was very odd, never expericed this before.
I talked to my friend with an 88 firebird formula and he said similar things happened on his. He belives it is the alternator and it's on it way out. Is there anything that I myslef can do to fix this. Or do i have to take it somwhere to get looked at. What should I do? Any help is greatly appreciated in advance and sorry for such a long post lol.
