Does anyone else's LT1 do this at startup?

Once in awhile, it seems like this will happen...I go to start the T/A, it fires up normally, but once it catches, the RPMs will shoot up to 2k and sit there for several seconds. After the several seconds, it would simply fall back down to normal idle, and act normally from then on. I was never able to scan it when this occurs, though. The IAC readings are fine otherwise (and recently cleaned), and the TPS is OK.
Just wondering if anyone else's LT1 does this

Mine does it every so often if I don't let hold the key down long enough for it to catch fully. Seems it does it to make sure the motor catches fully.
