plug wire problems

Hows everybody doing? I am having a serious problem protecting my plug wires from the heat of my long tubes on my 97 z. I burn up wires every 1000 miles or so and if I dont catch it at the early stages my opti spark is right behind them. I have custome wire seperators to try to prevent this problem but much to my dismay this did not remedy the situation. Iv exhausted all of my knowledge and was wondering if any one could shed some light on this for me

You need firesleeves... a kevlar braided mesh that slips over the plug wire ends.
