Body kits /firebird

Does anybody have any thoughts on the body kits available to 93-97 Firebirds? It seems that Wings West is the only company that makes them. Do they make a difference and are they worth the money. I've never seen an actual car with one. My car looks a little to high off the ground and I dont want to lower it because of clearance issues when I get my LT's. Any help on this one guys?

GM had the 'sport appearance' package that you could get over the counter but I'm not sure if its still avialable. I thought looked pretty sweet but it was pretty pricey! It was pt #12371055 according to the body components section of my old GM catalog.

The Trans AM has a body Kit stock that will bolt to any 93-03 Firebird

With the Trans-am though I think you need to replace the front and rear bumpers because the extensions that line up with the sides are molded into the bumpers. The rear cutout for the mufflers are part of the whole rear bumper I believe. I'm not sure if just the sides along the doors and rocker panels would look good by themselves?

I dont underastand why your worried about your formulas body kit (or the lack of one). Formulas look awsome just droped a inch or 2, especally with a tire bigger than 295 . You should find a high rise spoiler TA hatch instead. Those always look sick on the plain styling of the formula.

Go with the Wings West, it makes a huge difference, and looks sweet, you can grab one off ebay for around 530, if someone tells me how to load pics onto here, i have a ton

if i get a high rise spoiler then I have to replace the whole hatch correct? how much would that run?

I've seen this on a Formula and it looks sweet. I wanted to do it on mine before it was wrecked but now I have the Z.
