I want to put a speaker in my car that is similiar to those. the thunderform is a speaker that goes in the space in the hachback on the driver side in that hole is. i was woundering if having the speaker on one side of the car would affect the sound. any comment would help me out because i don't know anything about speakers. if u know of a better one or something better to put in please tell me.

You'll have to make sure whatever speaker you get is 2 ohm..... the factory system is rated at that. If you change speaker ratings it's gonna sound like crap. As far as placement, if it is a subwoofer, low sounds are omni directional. There is much less stereo seperation so it shouldn't affect the perceived direction of the sound.

The alternative to the MTX Thunderform is the JL Audio Stealthbox, which holds a 10" sub. Personally I like JL's, and have never had a problem with them. I recently downsized to 6W0's in the rear panels, custom fit with special trim rings. more info can be found at

      * Any sub you add will require an additional amp to provide enough power to move the sub.
