  • NFB: Think befor you point the Hype Finger

You know, I am a Democrate. I'm Proud of it. The Democrats just seem to make sence to me. They want to lower collage tution (Im a collage student). They want to make healthcare affordable (I have no Healthcare because all my money goes to pay for collage). They may have to rise Tax's a littel but Im alright with that as long as I see the Tax's going to good use, Something that will benfit me to.

I have watched in the past months people say that the Iqui is all Hype. and I have seen Republican bash Democrates for being "Hype-ful," and that the Saudi's, and the 7-min reaction, and the 1000 dead after we claim victory is all just Hype. Well Republican I think some of you are ful of hype too. When you talk about Kerry changing his mind you have to remember that ever Bill that goes through the Senate is different. Some cost more, some less, some involve stipulations, smoe don't. Just because a man vote for a bill that is within our budget and against a simalar bill that is way too much. Its like would you pay 50,000$ for a 1995 Stock Camaro. NO. But you might find one for 9,000 thats more IN THE BUDGET.

I have also watched Buch for Four years now. I have seen Collage Tution go up 40% in 4 years. I have seen how focused on School but its more directed to Grammer level. He also sends all the jobs that people who only have a Grammer Level education over seas. He trys to tell the U.S. that he wants America to be a "Leader in Technology." Well my Question to Mr. Bush is, how does he expect people to pay for the education needed to make America a Leader if Tution is almost 400$ PER CREDIT HOUR. And thats In-state tution. This semester I paid almost 4,100$ to UNF and Im going to do it again next Semester. I just think that is too much.

I just think that no matter who you vote for you vote because you educated your self and choose the man that is for what will help YOU. Remember all those poverty strikin voters are going to vote for what they need, same as the upper-class stuck ups. VOTE FOR YOUR SELF, Vote for you.

Kerry is for homosexual marriage and radical abortion rights, not to mention cutting the military (just like Clinton did which is why we don't have enough troops now) and raising taxes (his middle class tax cut is a joke which has been proven by several media outlets, including liberal ones.)

As for your tuition increases, you can thank your school for that. Tuition has gone up over 200% since I started going to college (from 93-98). Umm, that would be Clinton years. It doesn't matter though, because the schools raise tuition for football teams, new buildings, and paying the instructors (not to mention fattening their own pockets).

Are you absolutely positive you don't have healthcare? Do your parents have healthcare provided form their employer? If they do, you are probably covered under their plan as a "full time student". As soon as you graduate, you become responsible for finding your own.

The fact that you are alright with that has no consequence to how the market will react to that. You for more jobs later on in your post... yet here you say you are OK with higher taxes. Do you realize that the two go together like oil and water?

Nationwide tuition? Or YOUR school's tuition?

See? This is the kind of unfair Bush accusations I am talking about. Bush doesn't "send" anything overseas. Show me someone who received their layoff notice on Presidential letterhead, and I'll show you the end of the rainbow.

Education costs money. And $4100 for a college semester really is pretty small on a nationwide scale. You have to decide where you want the money to come from. If you want cheaper education, you are going to pay for it in higher taxes. If that sounds fine to you, then you will have to live with the loss of jobs. There is no way around it... no way to differentiate one from another. You cannot change something in an economy without a domino effect. You have to relaize the consequences of the choices you make before you make them, and then determine if they are acceptable to you or not. If they are, then OK... but don't be under the impression that you can "have your cake and eat it too." There is no perfect society where tax increases don't hurt the economy and cost jobs.

I don't vote for what I need...I vote for a land that gives me the opportunity to accomplish what I want to accomplish and do the things I enjoy doing. I don't want handouts...I just want to be left alone. After the unexpected birth of my son and the subsequent child support, I was literally living on Romin Noodles, Rice Krispies, and the meat that I got from my sister's ranch. It was my responsibility and accepted it. I went a Colorado winter with the heat turned off in my apartment and just layered myself with clothes because I couldn't afford the bill. I didn't ask help from anybody...especially the government. However, I pulled myself up by my bootstraps and went back to school and got my masters so that I could make enough to support myself and my son. Was it hard, yes it was! Was it expensive to go to school, yes it was! But, I did it! Me, myself, that is it! I have a 20k student loan to pay off, and I am in my 30s, but I make enough now to offset it. After a year scrapping by in the apartment, I spent a year commuting from my parents house 72 miles one way while going to school and working full time so I could save enough for a down payment on a house in order to get joint custody of my son. My house is trashed and it is a complete remodel project because that is all I could afford, but I have had 50/50 custody of my son for two years now. I couldn't even pay my bills four years ago, but I am building a future now...and I did it without the government. This is what it is all about...it is about what we can do for ourselves not what the government can do for us. By the way, I am certainly not an upper-class stuck up; but I am a single parent working my a$$ off everyday for my family! Honestly, it is the voting for ones piece of the pie (what we need) that creates the monster and ugliness in Washington...we need limits.

I said I was going to avoid this political crap, but this one is a bit too much.

It’s a sad commentary on the state of the U.S. educational system, when a self-described “collage” student doesn’t know how to spell, punctuate or capitalize. A few examples:

          “Democrate” = Democrat
          “Proud” = proud
          “sence” = sense
          “collage” = college
          “tution” = tuition
          “rise” = raise
          “Tax’s” = taxes
          “littel” = little
          “Im” = I’m
          “benfit” = benefit
          “Something” = something
          “ful” = full
          “smoe” = some
“vote for a bill” = votes for a bill
          “simalar” = similar
          “50,000$” = $50,000
          “Buch” = Bush
“Grammer level” = grammar school level
          “over seas” = overseas
          “Semester” = semester
          “strikin” = stricken

There are more, but you get the idea.

My whole point on these posts.... they are pointless. Is anyone going to change their vote based on this kind of input?

Ok, Look at Nike, Rebook, Fender Guitars, heck your car, The GM F-body platform was built in Canada. The motor is from Mexico or Canada, But yet the Company and the Design as well as all testing took place in the US. Now I well bet you that not one person on the US side of things had less than a Bachlors. Now who do you think is running the factorys in Mexico and Canada, the middel class High School Graduate or less. All those jobs, EXPORTED to save a dimes, Kerry wants to tax them, bring some of those jobs back. And the companys that stay will still be taxed. Sure things may cost more, but there will be compinsation come tax time. plus there will be jobs.

You know I go to a State University not some privite high class USC like school. I pay for it my self, I also work as close to 40 hours a week to support myself. My father past a few years ago and my mother and sister live with my grand parents. They have health care but I am not coverd. I cant afford it. Ok cool, Bush doesnt care or I would beable to go get a flu shoot or get my cavity filled, Ive been 4 years.

Also on the homosexual marriage issue, I have gay relatives. One wanted to get married to another women. She couldn't. Now why. Because some one didn't think it was right, some one not involved with there lives and would never now that one took the other's name unless they asked. Dont get me wrong they still loved one another like they were married, but never legal. What does it matter, there people just like you and I, and who are you, or I, John Kerry, Or George W. Bush to tell them what is right and wrong, who or what to love. I mean we can pray to what ever god we want but people cant love one another and show it.

I also only said I would pay hire taxes, if I had to. until his plan had the time it should take, 4 years, thats as long as I give any president.

"Sure things may cost more, but there will be compensation come tax time..." Huh?

I sit here with a 4 year degree in economics, and I am trying to tell you some economic truths to Kerry's proposals. I will even admit to you that they SOUND wonderful. But that's surface level.

You wouldn't call a plumber because your sink is backed up, and then tell him how to fix it, would you? Then maybe you should listen to someone with a DEGREE in this field. I am not going to tell you how to design a house -- that's YOUR expertise.

You want to know what happens when a company is taxed for outsourcing? In the short-term more jobs are saved, but companies must charge more for their goods. In turn, sales drop. Sales drop... profits drop... employees are cut. Company loses money. More employees are cut. In the long term, companies will be less likely to set up shop in the USA because they know that if the demands on their business change, they will be penalized for adapting to them. Basically, what started as a "barrier to exit" has become a "barrier to entry". After that, no one wants to do business over here anymore. So then what do they do? They set up shop overseas. Now our docks are flooded with imported goods, and short-sighted people begin ing, "stop the imports! Save America's jobs! Tax imports!". So they do... and so the vicious cycle continues.

Face it, we're in a global economy. Time to step up to the plate.

I am sorry to hear of the loss of your father. My dad died when I was 19 and I am 22, so I know how hard that can be.

Bush didn't cause the flu vaccine shortage, and any accusation to the contrary is an outright dirty lie.

You can choose to open your eyes, and listen to someone with experience in this field, or you can go to the polls blissfully oblivious to this, it doesn't matter to me. You will eventually make your decision based on what you want, but a responsible voter will consider what is REALITY before jumping to conclusions.
