Well I've done my duty to my country and to my soul. Man the turnout is heavy in Georgia. Our polls in Georgia opens at 7 and there were probably 200+ people in line then. I was there for an hour.

Here are some stories so far.

One guy said he got to the polling place about 5:30 and he was about 100 back in line. He said there must have been 1500 people there when he left.

My boss said she got there about 5 and she was about 10th in line. there was a guy in a sleeping bag there who was first in line. She said she voted at some park and she could not see the end of the line when she left. She said it went across the field and into the woods down some walking trail.

My question is did if the president have to stand in line.

I've voted as well. It took about an hour, there were a lot of people in line. Today is going to be very interesting.

Absentee Ballot Baby!!! The greatest thing. I was able to take my time and be sure I knew exactly what was going into the ballot. The sucky thing about that though is I had no idea about the local issues for I haven't been home in about 6 months. But at least they were self explainetory.

Nice to be able to drink a beer and smoke a cigarette while voting!!

I waited about 45 minutes. Not too bad. I was a little late for work but no big deal.

I went at about 4:45 today and my wife and I were only 6-7 people back in line. Not too bad. I think that they have the districts broken up real well around here - or I got lucky.

Two more for Bush! (not that it matters in freakin' NY state )

I have started frequenting over at the forum at greasecar.com and I cant stand the politcal atmosphere there. Too many tree hugging hippies They think the war is a waste and Bush is the antichrist, but many do not even know the issues.
