cranked up the Hawk today....SES

took the cover off....cranked her up and pulled out of the garage... first time in 3 months..or longer... got an SES light.....LOL. i think she was mad at me..engine coughed, sputtered... ses light was blinking...then stayed solid...

let her idle for about 15 min....or so....shut her down..pulled the pcm fuse..... waited 5 min. pluged it back in and started her up again.. ran like a top...no SES light... bless her LT1 heart.

drove her around the neighborhood...just cruised.. people stared.... i think they thought she'd gone to another home...

put a new coat of sal's z2pro on her. i wont even post the pic yet.. you wont believe this car and this stuff.....

im thinking of puttin the hawk in show this weekend.... a muscle car show.

Mary named her "scrappy"...... cause she looks "street Scrappy" for sure.

it was her car, its now mine. i took it over after I sold my Comp T/A last Feb.

well......at first we were selling it...then we wern't ...then we were.. and nobody has offered us around what we were asking...which is below NADA retail on a 97 Hawk in good condition.

then we came into a little money... so i let her sit in the garage..covered.. while we "thought" the whole thing out.

the only way we will sell it is if we get on or about what we are asking for it... otherwise... we might just keep it and play with it.....once every 5 months or so.........LOL

he improved both z2 and z5 over a year ago......

he's now taking z2 even further... but the labels are not ready yet and its not been released, although.. when was yours shipped?

nope. brand new GM 3:73 ring n pinion and install kit sittin in the basement.

actually..she has not got in that car in over a year and half now, joe! she could care less, with her golden retriever rescue operation and she loves that Envoy to pieces.........

if we end up keeping it ..im sure she'll drive it once and while. but the old tags: "HER HAWK" are gone... the new tags: 97 HAWK are on it....
