trans brake question

How do you go about a two stage rev limiter for the trans brake? I've got my nitrous on WOT and a window switch. My question is, I won't be spraying the nitrous while I'm holding the tranbrake will I? Someone please explain to me how a trans brake works with the rev limiter and my nitrous set up. I'll launch @ 4000 roughly

Set the lower limit of the nitrous window switch at least a few hundred RPM higher than your launch rev limiter. Set up a 2-stage rev limiter. The 2 stage will have an input that controls which rev limit is active. Tie that wire into the positive wire leading to your transbrake solenoid. Thus, when the transbrake is energized, the rev limiter will drop to the lower limit <4000 rpm>. When you release the transbrake, the rev limiter will switch to your top-end limit. Set your upper rev limit at least 100 rpm higher than the hig-rpm cutoff of the nitrous window switch, so the nitrous will shut off before the rev limiter kicks in. In my opinion, the best setup, let's assume you launch at 4000 and shift at 7200 RPM, set the nitrous window switch to turn on from 4200 - 7300, and set the 2 stage to 4000 and 7400. This way, if you miss a shift or have a driveline failure, the nitrous will cut, then the rev limiter will kick in.

dosent MSD have a 2 step rev limiter that is an indepentant box?
