  • Scraping Blades

i've tried to stop my windshield wiper blades from the annoying scraping they make. it doesn't matter if it's lots of rain, or just mist, they keep doing it. i originally replaced the blade inserts, then the entire blades with OEM versions, and finally, i bought some Ancos. these seem to be the best, actually, but they still scrape.

finally, today, i took a crescent wrench to the arm on the driver's side to see if it needed a different angle of attack, so i bent it one way, and then another, to no avail. wtf?

my car runs really well in the rain, but this is no fun.

Dude, i use ONLY trico "exact fit" blades. The best blades I've ever bought, better than anco, which is what's on my conquest.

The trico's work just as good as oem blades, if not better. Best 20 bucks I ever spent on blades in my life.

I had bosch on my conquest and they streaked like a mofo. Couldn't get the water off my winshield, will never buy them again, replaced them with anco after only a couple months of use, and they're really good. Guess each size or application is different? Or maybe we just got shady blades from each manufacturer.

I agree with DeWynter, they don't peep ANYTIME, and they work extremely well.

Try using Rain-X with the new blades. That makes the windshield extra slippery.
