    which is better, lt1 edit or a hypertech power programmer?
    my 4.10 is getting put in so its time for one of these, which is cheaper and more efective? thanks~gunter

    LT-1 edit makes a Hypertech programmer seem like a toy. LT-1 edit for OBDII is mucho more expensive though. For OBD1 it is a couple hundred bucks. For OBDII try closer to $500.
    There is one more option if all you want to do is correct for the gear. There is a "piggyback" module that SLP sells that corrects the speedo without doing a re-program. Part # 63007 for LT-1 cars, # 63008 for LS1 cars. Available seperately, or part of a performance gear package.

      id say LT1 edit is better. i know folks that lost power with the hpp........dont know the price of it though.
