  • Let me tell you about the craziest month in my life!!

To make a long story short, I left on the 6th of October to go visit my Mom in Santa Barbara. I had planned on staying about a week and then going to Las Vegas to visit Combination Motorsports.

After being in Cali for only 4 days, I received a call from my Stepmother. She said my father's chemo wasn't going so well and he had got progressively sicker over the last week. Needless to say I flew straight to Georgia to see him. When I first got there he was definitely not himself, but after a few days he did get much better. Apparently he was suffering from a bad combination of prescription drugs and the chemo. I stayed for about 2 weeks until he started to really re-gain his strength and walk around on his own. When I left, he was doing so much better he was telling everyone he was ready to go back to work. My Father is a tough man, but it will be a while before he returns to work.

So after all of that and being gone from home for so long, I had a ton of catching up to do when I got home. So I am just now posting for the first time since being home.

I gotta say, I missed you guys, and I missed posting and talking with everyone. I did have a few oppurtunities to use other computers to post, but given the circumstances, I had a ton on my mind.

Anyways, I'm home and here to stay for a while.

BTW, I got a kick out of seeing the "Where is fastTA" thread. You guys worry too much. j/k It was actually pretty cool that you guys were concerned.

Well gotta go for now (got alot to do around here), but I'll post up for sure tomorrow!!

Ahh......no big deal at all. Actually my sister and I don't really talk all that much anymore. Let's just say her husband was not our family's first choice.

Well, it's about time you got on here and told us you were okay.

I like the idea of a F-body trip to Texas! That would be sweet!

Just think, we would be close to Good ole President Bush's place.

I hope everything works out for ya.

                    see ya later, Lee!
