95 T/A vibration

I own a 95 Trans Am,6spd.I recently installed 4.10 gears,they made a huge difference but between 80-100 mph i am getting a driveshaft vibration.It is felt more on decelleration that accelleration but it is pretty moderate.I just assumed it was due to the shaft turning the higher rpms .I have checked the car and found no problems, nothing loose, u joints good, all seems well, and at normal speeds i get no vibration. If anyone has any ideas let me know.

Upgrade the driveshaft to a 1LE aluminum driveshaft. That'll take care of it.

It was common for the steel driveshafts to be out of balance. Many never noticed unless the car was driven at a higher speed or as you found out, a higher driveshaft speed due to a gear swap. Not only that, the factory driveshaft reaches critical velocity sooner than the top speed of the car. GM had a TSB on this back when the cars were new and many got their driveshaft replaced with the 1LE aluminum shaft. One of those will cure your driveline vibration, or an aluminum shaft from the LS1 cars.

where would i find one of those, and how much are theyght mine was from tires so i bought all new yokoholma Gb s' and it helped a little but i get ribrations wehn i am slowing from high speeds, evern wihtout using the brakes, and at hihg speeds. would this help me?

also i have a polyerathane trans mount, it has no give in it, and the ride is very vibrant, where would i find a 1Le trans mount?

I just wanted to thank you guys for the info.I purchased a used ls1 aluminum driveshaft and installed it tonight.The vibration is totally gone. I even made a few 120-130mph passes and nothing.Before replacing the shaft i would have been scared to death to make a pass that speed, it felt like the drive shaft was gonna come out over 70mph.Once again thanks and maybe this will help someone else because it definately fixed my problem.
