  • Back from the track....

Last day of the season at Maple Grove Raceway netted me my best run to date. 13.810 @ 100.58 MPH with a 2.093 60'. Conditions were great, weather was cool +/- 60 degrees. The only problem was everyone was there! So many cars that I was only able to get in one run.
Took my son with and he had a hoot identifying all the different cars that were there. Mine was one of the s-l-o-w ones, but I am more than pleased.
Now for some winter mods........How long 'till spring?

Also...ran across the scale and weighed in at 3650lbs. This was with the 200lbs driver Maybe the winter will offer some weight reduction mods for the driver....

Yeah, Since when did anyone ever lose weight over winter?

If your car weighs 3450 w/o you, that's pretty good - mine was 3560 w/o me in it. I actually thought it would be heavier than that because of all the heavy duty stuff I put on it and the blower.

Buy some stickers, then you could runs 12s. The "powered by honda" stickers work the best so make sure u get some of them cause u might could run 10s with them. Put white dots all over your car 2. It makes it lighter cause of carbon fiber

I was quite surprised to find a lack of import racers at the track today. It like they had ESP and knew the fast cars were gonna be there. One guy in a Talon AWD told me he ran a 12.5? ?

Maybe he did - he had quite a number of stickers I know those things launch well.

My favorite car was a 2000 WS6 on juice running 10.5. The guy was cool cause he checked out my car (stock) and gave me a complement for driving a f-bod. He had the coolest Bogart wheels. The F-bod breatheren liveth!

Wish I could've made it but if it was that busy, I'm not too disapointed.

Yea, I'm glad you didn't drive in. It would have been a waste. Put that WS6 under wraps for the winter and we can blow the dust off it in the spring when grudge night starts up again. Forget about the idea of selling it, you know it wasn't ment to be. j/k
