  • AM/FM Button not Lit

My Am/Fm button on my steering wheel has never been lit up at night like all my other buttons on the steering wheel. How do I fix it, is a bulb burnt out? How does the button come off?

    hmmm...just the small AM/FM button isn't lit??? That's weird...

there's a small LED that lights the whole button set (seek, am/fm, present buttons)...the LED is burnt out...

the whole button(s) assembly can be pryed out as a whole with a screw driver. It isn't too tight in there...it just slids right out...becareful, the wires and connectors are short and can be a slight hassel to get it loose.

Disassembly is self explanatory...a few clicks here and there and the whole thing come apart...

get a new LED (the OEM is actually clear with a red sleeve over it) from radio shack and solder that bad boy in...when you remove the old one of course...
