Moroso CAI help
Ok, I have installed this a few years ago, and now the filter plate is showing some rust. I am worried that it may eventually rust through causing unfiltered air to go to the engine. Anyone else with the Moroso CAI experience this? Any solutions? Thanks.

Use wd40 to get rid of the rust. If its bad then paint it so the rust stops.1994 Firebird Formula, M6, Fan switch, 160 thermostat, Pacesetter LT headers, Morosso CAI, TB bypass, True duals. -
Actually, plate came painted. Rust is underneath the paint (mostly around the edges for now).Comment

take it out, sand it, paint it. No way around it. I just took it out of my car, and it made it's way inside too! I hope
of it got to the engine (the MAF screen looked clean, free of foreign objects). Does anyone make similar filter plates with a different material (plastic or stainless steel) that would fit Moroso's CAI system? Thanks
