  • So whos got big plans for the winter ??

For those of us lucky enough to have to put our cars away for the dreaded snow season, what you guys planing on doing. Cuz i dont know many people that just put em away n leave it be

Personaly im going to do a mixture of performance and appearance. i have a pretty good chunk of change to drop but the more i think about it i dont want to make the car more than i can handle. still being a young driver i want to make sure i can handle what i got under the hood. Probabally going to do a few bolt ons, some suspension work, just enough to break into the 12's. then i have a few interesting ideas as far as the body of the car goes . some may think the ideas sound somewhat "ricey" but i realy think when it is all completed it will give me the look im going for - simply different than all the others.

As often as i change my mind, this prolly wont be true tommarow but its what i would like to do. . . if money only grew on trees

The SS has been off the road for 2 weeks already and I miss driving it a lot I think that if money permits, that I will get subframe connectors, a tourque arm and a strut tower brace. They will all most likely be from SLP. Then I will have the suspension pretty much covered and then I can go for some more power

Im replacing everything under the car! All new steering & suspension components. My car has over 130,000 and most of the parts on it are orginal... So I think she really could use new stuff. If money/time permits, I am also planning on an aluminum driveshaft, getting the headers coated, and probably a set of 4th gen seats & new carpet to finish off the interior!! Should be a busy winter!

Well, now that I finally got my running rich/stumbling issue figured out after 15 months (it was the Comp R lifters), I plan to get the car tuned, then dialed in on the dyno, then catch a good cool dry winter way and go turn some times getting used to the newfound power.

Back in april, i only had enough money to buy one car, which means i dont have the luxury of putting it away for the winter . All good though, gonna cut back alot on how much i drive it, but i do forsee donuts in the snow . I do plan on doing quite a few suspension upgrades though, as well as literally all small maintenance things. A full exhaust will also be on it by new years .
