  • Should GM have made the Formula look like this?

Found an old Photoshop exercise from a few years ago..... what if they made the Formula look like this from the factory? Not sure where they could have put the headlights.

Finding a place for the lights would be easier than checking the oil!

Well, the quality is not that great, but its one idea for headlights. If it looks like Camaro headlights, thats because it is.
Heaven forbid-Camaro headlights on a Pontiac!

Not bad, but what about C6 headlights? I think that might look better. Just my 2 cents.

Same way you open the nose of a Jaguar XKE.

I like it. Not only that, if there were a tasteful fixed headlight kit for 93-97 cars, I might opt for one. I like the streamlined look, but hate the pop up lamps. Too many problems with them. I am suprised someone hasn't tried to do the 98 firehawk type fixed lamps for the LT-1 cars.

Maybe I could change my own plugs with that kind of access. My overweight arm couldn't reach a few of them, so I had to get my 12yo son in there.

i totally agree with joe, i like the idea of the fixed lights better. I love the look of the fixed lights on the 98-02 style but i wish that they had a kit for the lt1's. I would try to make one but I don't have that kind of money laying around to fool around with such things. I would probably pay whatever it cost tho to get a kit if one was made.

Gee Lou, do you got the money or dont ya?

Or you could just be like me and hardly ever drive your car at night. Heck, I probably drove my car at night maybe 25 times in 10 years, and the headlight gears still got stripped out, and that was about 5 years ago when that happenned. Thats GM quality for you!!!
