So, I think I'm gonna just get a new EGR valve instead of cleaning the old one...probably a better long term solution. So, first off, does the 93 not have the EGR pipe? I don't see if anywhere in the diagram or on the car. Second, should I bite the bullet and get the valve from GMPartsDirect.com or would a Kragen job be just fine? Thanks.

Yes, but a brand new one is already clean, plus if I ever have an EGR failure I've already got one on hand instead of having to take care of it later. Its like $40 anyways for a new one, so its not like buying an Opti lol.Steve

Music to my ears lol. Thanks man. Would buying a new valve from GMPartsDirect.com be the way to go or would a Kragen one be alright?Steve

Will do, thanks a bunch man for all your help. The problem isn't even there since I pushed on the diaphragm on the EGR valve, so this should take care of it. You've taken a huge load off my mind, thanks again man. Take care.Steve
