Now that i have cooled down it really isnt that bad. Its about a 3g mess up but the insurance is paying every last dime of it. I'd like to think of it this way, I get a new hood and front end. There were some small chips and scratches on there before hand so its pretty much like getting all my scratches fixed for free. So all and all it turned out pretty good except i cant drive it for 2 or 3 weeks

Usually deer strikes don't have a deductible.... they fall under "Acts of God."

Seeing as how they just left church and an "Act of God" caused them to kill a deer and wreck their son's car, they really might want to consider throwing a little more money at the plate next Sunday...

Man, I'm starting to get some chips in my hood and would like to get my front end redone too. Don't want to spend the cash, but now I know all I have to do is find a deer!! Lord knows there are too many around here anyway!! If I get the angle right, maybe I can work in a new windshield too!

In this part of PA, it's a big hunter's area. Almost everybody is an avid hunter, and I know plenty of people that actually try to hit the deer in the road, but not to get their cars repainted.... in PA, the person who hits a deer has claim to it's meat. You can pick it up and take it with you. However, before you seriously consider this idea, know this: A guy at work recently hit one and it broke his leg in 3 places. Although he was luckier than the deer. Needless to say he'll be out of commission for a while.

Around here, you can't help but hit them... you can't drive 2 miles (literally) without seeing a carcass along side the road or the blood spray from where it's been picked up. They're everywhere!

I will be sure to post some pics of the hood and all on here. Dont be frightened if it still has deer hair stuck in it, my dad wanted to make sure the insurance compay believed us. From now on they will be driving my dad's ol p.o.s. ford truck to church that is unless i want a new pain job, lol
