i just bought a winter beater, its a 1999 dodge ram 1500 sport with the 5.9 and an auto. it gets 13.5ish gas mileage right now, just currious if there was any thing i can do to get better mileage. and yes i keep my foot out of it and drive it easy.

I got an '04 Silverado this year and am looking forward to this winter!! One suggestion to help would be some sort of tonneau cover so your tailgate does not act like a parachute....other than that, hmmmmm....remember, its a truck!!
