Is there not a vacuum diagram somewhere under the hood, perhaps near the emissions sticker?

I have a Corvette FI manual. I'll see if they have a 92 diagram in there.

      This is what I got for a '94 lt-1.

I have 2 diagrams types listed for Vacuum and Vapor Hose Diagrams.

      1. Emission Control Systems

      and

      2. Heating and Air Conditioning.

Here is the one for the emissions. If you need the a/c one also, I can put that up for ya.

You have to plug the port at the throttle body if you remove the CCV line. If you don't you will be pulling unfiltered air into the intake manifold. You might also want to move with caution on the 94 F-Body diagram.... there are more than a dozen different stickers, depending on the three letter code. The 93 F-Body LT1 (closer to the 92 C4 engine) has 9 variations in routing diagrams shown in my Chiltons. As an example, my 94 LT1 has a U-shaped PCV hose that connects to a port on the upper part of the drivers side of the intake manifold, rather than routing the line forward to connect to the intake manifold under the throttle body.

yeah come to think of it so does the vette. the hard part is that some one else took it apart, and i built the motor, and due to owner stupidity, i am installing it too, and its gone from the 1992 intake to the 1996 intake and newer fuel rails with the front and rear crossover. so i will be fighting this stuff a little more than normal

Did you look for the Corvette's vacuum routing diagram? It under the hood, usually near the radiator support on just about all the cars.

ill have to go outside and dig out the hood to look on it for a decal, there is no diagrams on the radiator shroud.
