speakers

As ive been getting more into my stereo lately Ive been wondering what kind of speakers do most of you have in the door panels. Are you using a componet system. Whats the best way to go? Any advice as what to get or what to stay away from?
Also i heard a while back that someone tried to put 6x9s in their hatch area. I was wondering if maybe a 5x7 would fit better with less altercations to the vehicle or maybe some of those 4x6 plates. any ideas? I need some help here. Thanks in advance guys

I run a component system in the doors with a sub in the trunk. The speakers are Peerless. I got them at www.madisound.com. The speakers their are european brands and priced better than what you find here. I think the quality is better, too.

I run a factory Bose headunit so the dash looks stock. The bose heads have line output with no amp allowing you to run whatever you want. I use a Soundstream reference 405 5 channel amp bridged to 3 channels.

I dont have any speakers in the back seat. I prefer the sound to come from up front. The setup sounds great, and it is usually pretty hard to gat a good sounding steroe in an F-body convertible.
