I went outside to get a few items from the car, it's a nice and clear night. Something in the sky catches my eye. I look up and see what appears to be an airplane. Not too unusual considering I live near an airport. Then it dawned on me that the light wasn't blinking and was surrounded by a kind of haze/halo like if you saw something traveling though fog. The problem is that there are no clouds or fog present. I follow it for maybe 5 seconds or so and it appears to be traveling a decent speed, but definately not supersonic or anything. Then, all of a sudden I see some sparks fly from it and whatever it was, disappeared.
I've seen meteorites streak across the sky and they travel at a very fast speed, this didn't behave at all like that. This appeared to be at a much lower altitude and traveling considerably slower. There was no sound, once the sparks flew it almost looked like it broke apart, the light immediatly extinguished. Freaky huh?

Not good for our health you know.

for my friend to come back outside. It was dark out and I was just laying there looking at the stars, when I saw what looked like a star moving around.
