    howdy to all

    im new i drive a 1997 Z28 Emerald Green i guess is the color no pictures do the car justice just like any other f-body
    1997 Camaro Z28 Pacesetter Long tubes, ORY-Pipe, Accel 30# Injectors, MSD Cap & Rotor, MSD Super Conductor Wires, NGK Irdium TR55IV Plugs, and Borla Catback. Madtuner Tune, SLP High/Low fan switch, NGK o2 sensors

    New Longblock at 110,947 and everything above.

      [EDIT] I think in 1997, the dark green was code 48 - Polo Green Metallic, although it seemed to be a much "brighter" shade than the earlier years.

                welcome, im pretty new here as well. i drive a blue 99 z28 camaro no mods yet, but its an ex cop car so it has a chip in it. not sure what it does but it has one, lol.

                  Tracy what chip are you talking about. Was it programmed I thouhgt after 93 you couldn't put a chip in a fbody. Also if its stock are you sure its not a SS cause the hood on the car in you sig is an SS right guys? Also I've heard of police using SS's not Z28's.

                        I believe this was discussed before, the pic in her sig is not her car, it's just a pic of an ss, but tracy does have a z28. Also, i know quite a few police officers from around my area, and i know for a fact that they do not drive SS's, they drive '02 z28's. And it's not a chip that those cars came with, the computers are just reprogrammed, pretty much just what a hypertech programmer does.
