  • fog light bulb?

Ok, first I tried searching on here, then I tried google and no luck... sooo What is the bulb number for a 98+ fog light on a camaro? I think its 894, that number sounds familiar. I went to autozone, they were closed and advance auto has no listing. I know I should just take the bulb out, but it's cold outside and I'm writing a paper! (all the more reason for me to stay warm!)

The 6000K and 6500K is the color temperature of the light, which is measured in Kelvin. I would suggest sticking to a bulb no higher than 4100K. As the color temperature goes up, the lumens go down, which means less visible light. Basically, the coating on the bulb serves as a filter, which cleans out that yellow look of a filament bulb. The higher the color temp, the thicker the coating, and the only way to compensate for this loss in the filtering process is with higher wattage bulbs. As for the type of bulb you need, go here.
