  • Borla vs. Stock Exhaust Backpressure Test

This was done on a 96 WS6. I've been to the site before, but I think this is fairly new. The guy used a homemade manometer to test the exhaust gas pressure before the catalytic converter.

    Stock Exhaust: 7.5in Hg

    Borla: 3.5in Hg

Maybe I'm blind, but I can't find anything on which plate he used? I'm currently using the 1 3/4" or 2 1/4" (been so long I can't remember) and wonder how that would do.

Why not go direct to a dyno test, also done on the same 96 WS6:
