I'm putting my car in for the winter this weekend. Is flapspotting the tires a big problem. I think thats the right term. I know there are mats you can buy to help with the problem, but is it really that big of a matter.

Being radials, they shouldn't flatspot but I would park it on some squares cut out of plywood to insulate the tires from the ground and give them some cushion, especially if you park on concrete.....you'll see how the boards warp over the winter.
My $0.02 though95 Z28, A4, 3.23's and some other stuff....

if you plan to put in bed on jackstands, be sure to put a piece of wood between the jack and her...trust me she'll like it better.
