Question for Wolfman

[4-2 Camaro SS]

I am torn between tires on my 98 T/A 6 speed. Well I have a chance to pick between Snow tires or $600 cash from my parents for the holidays. I live in Buffalo NY and the winters are pretty bad. I drove my Z28 half of the winter last year and it wasn't that bad, but I don't have a winter car anymore and can't afford one. I have heard great reviews about the Dunlop Sport M3. Are snow tires worth it or should I pay some bills off? Thanks for all ur help.
