has anyone had a problem with their monsoon system cutting in an out and successfully corrected it? i contacted monsoon but they won't help you trouble shoot these systems. the chevy dealer wasn't much help either. they didn't believe me that there was actually an amp in there.
i'm just assuming it's the amp by the way. i know that an amp i had in a previous car would turn itself off to keep from overheating but would turn back on shortly there after so i don't think this is the problem. the radio works all of the time but sometimes i have bass and sometimes i don't. any suggestions?

because the Monsoon amp is one of the many hoaxes that GM has perpetrated on the GM buying public 
-To say that the Monsoon amp is a joke would be an understatement-BTW, the amp is just in front of the spare tire behind the right rear wheel well. Reach in there and grab it and throw it away, and install something worthy of being called an amp
