Has anybody ever tried one of those automatic shift controllers by B&M? Does it make a big difference? What exactly went into installing it? I understand that transgo makes one as well.

The only 4L60E trans controller I know about is from TCI for about $700, are you asking about valve body shift kits? Transgo makes a good one that a lot of us use - it's a bit overengineered, but that doesn't hurt anything. Don't know about the B&M ones - They make good coolers which you will need one of if you go with a higher stall, but their converters have a bad rep. A lot of us go with a Transgo kit, B&M cooler, and a Vigilante, Coan, Yank, TCI or other converter.
