my girlfriend drives a 02 yellow collector, and we got in to an argument over slp stuff, someone please tell me the correct answer. are all ss's and firehawks made by slp, or just some please help~gunter (i think she is just mad that my 96 ram air is an slp car and her 02 collector isnt)

SLP built the first Firehawk in 1991.
They have built all Firehawks since, except in 1998..there were no Firehawks.
SLP does all the SS's, if its just the regular SS package..then all they do is the hood, a.b., wheels and tires, and suspension. but they still do it.
all ws6's in 96 and 97 were converted by slp. they were NOT considered tier one cars...like the SS or Firehawk..they were considered a factory car, striaght gm order. from 98 to 2002.. ASC got the contract for the wu6 upfit... and still..they are considered a factory car... as is the C.E. trans am....who also was doen by ASC.
