I feel for you man..My wife of 17 years has been clean of crack for one year. It cost our budget over $4,000 in Tv's wedding rings,computers,and cash. She is a long time pot user and she went out one night to buy some and couldn't find any.Someone said try this.... and she chased that first high for 9 months. She had a good job making more money than I do. No more.She spent $300. that first night.. After 2 times in jail and drug rehab programs she decided to go straight..Real rough road... Touch and go for this whole year.She still has problems and that craving,thinking about that first high...any has to make the effort daily to stay off of it. Age is not a factor,she is 51 years old and a grand mother.You would think she would know better but that's CRACK.Once it gets you it is very,very hard to beat. Thank God she's straight and with God's help will stay that way..Like someone said if you are in it for the long haul you can't do it yourself.She must want it herself first and if she doesn't the battle is over... You need to end it before you lose to much more...

well if we are cursed my curse is in not being able to get one (girlfriend) and now that the z's window motors are broke and i cant fix it till i get my next pay check i cant even look hot going places with the t tops out and windows down. *sigh*

I'm gonna go straight to the point and would like to add a personal touch.

First of all, you need to straight forward ask her. You need to not seem mad, even though you may be, just to try and get the truth out of her. You need to know what's going on now.

Second of all, if she is abusing, you need to help her quit. Even if you two break up cuz of it, help her, please...and i'll tell you why.

I myself used to abuse pretty badly about 2-3 years ago. I started out with smoking pot, and then i tried everything under the sun at least once (other than crack ironically.) I used to do drugs with a kid by the name of steven michael tomporowski. I went to the same high school with him (St. Joseph h.s. in westchester, il), used to party with him, heck i used to ditch school sometimes with a buncha friends to go to his house and smoke pot. Well, as times went on, alot of us moved on to another phase in life. I realized i was hurting some of the people that loved me most...my motivation to quit. I focused more on my music, and cars, etc... Everyone of my friends that needed help, i helped.

Steve though, just would never stop. We all tried talking some sort of reason into him, but there was no stopping him. A couple of my friends even informed his parents to try and get him into rehab, and they very lovingly did EVERYTHING they could to try and get him to stop.

He was a kid that started out small, and it just progressed into abusing everyday, then suddenly he was taking acid for 3 consecutive days, doin ecstasy, cocaine, etc... Granted there was a time when i did all of those drugs periodically, but never to that extreme, and at this point i was clean for a year and a half.

Suddenly i get a call from my friend the day after valentine's day this year saying that the police have a nationwide search on steve. When i asked why, he told me the most disturbing thing i have ever heard in my life, and people from western wisconsin to northern illinois im sure heard of this, it was headline news. Steve, at his parents farmhouse in western wisconsin, killed his dad and uncle, then called his mom saying they had car problems and lured her to take a 7 hour drive just to murder her too. He was caught in kentucky and now serves 3 life sentences in wisconsin without parole.

I'm not saying this is going to be the case with your gf, my point is drugs change people, especially when it gets bad. Steve was once a good, normal, "A" student kid, played on the same h.s. football team, everything...now...he's a scum bag wasting the rest of his life in jail. His reason for his parents was that he just grew to hate them, and for his uncle he said he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

You do not understand how many times i have thought about something more i could have done in the past, and now 3 very nice people are lost, families are ruined, steve's aunt is a widow with 3 kids, and there is absolutely nothing i can do about it. It's something that i cannot change, but what i have dedicated myself to is trying to help other people never EVER reach that stage again.

Please, give her help if she needs it. If she is hooked, she needs your support now more than ever.

well its been a few days since i logged on and you guys have some really good advise.... We were only dating 6 months but, we moved from out parents houses into an apartment after one month.. (stupid idea) then 3 months later she kicks me out and says she needs her space... so i go my way for a few days and she calls me and says she has thought about it and wants me to come back... everything is great for about 2 months then she starts pulling this going out with her friends whenever she gets a chance crap.. within the last week, she has told me that the feelings for her ex. are starting to come back.. so she decides yesterday that she wants me gone... so i pack my stuff and am gonna stay at my parents till i find a place to go.... well last night i went over to her apartment and her and here crack smokin friend and the ex were all sitting there... i flipped out, grabbed what i had left in there and ran like hell.... i forgot the laptop.. so i went back tonight to get it and she's there when shes supposed to be at work, her and the crackhead were in the bathroom with the door shut..(hmmm..) my buddy was with me and said it smelled real funny in the apartment. i asked her what she was doing and she said her friend was doing her hair... she finally came from the bathroom and her hair was nothing special just pulled up..... my guess is they were in there doin lines or crank with the fan on.... i dunno... i might just be filling my head with crap.. i will stop blathering now

the only bad thing is that the i dont have the trans am now..... in sept. i sold my bagged 01 s-10 and bought an 03 s-10 and she decided she wanted one, so i told her if she bought the TA she could drive my truck, so we got it, she hates the car... so i told her earlier she could buy the truck from me for 13 and i would only give her 4k for the TA hahahhaha works out to my advantage.... we paid 8 for it 2 months ago
