I've got a 95 Z vert and its got a 108mph limiter on it I just found out. Just out of curiousity how do you go about getting rid of it. I doubt i'll do it tho I'm only 17 and smart enough to realize i'm stupid enough to actually drive that fast, but I was just curious for future information. Are there any cheap chips you can find to do it?

The speed limiter is programmed into the computer. you'll need a Hypertech power programmer, LT-1 edit or a custom program from an aftermarket tuner. The computer has a flash memory, you can't simply change chips.

Its a 95 model tho, I didn't think they came out with OBDII untill 96 or 97.Comment

OBDII has nothing to do with it. 93 was the last year for a removable chip.Comment
