I've seen that car in person at the Oakland Roadster Show...gorgeous doesn't begin to describe it. That car is just jaw-dropping beautiful.

The difference between that car and Pimp My Ride is not even comparable. Pimp My Ride is simply a "looks" show, they do not touch the motor. If it's about to blow the motor when it shows up, then it's about to blow the motor when it leaves. I call it "The Ricer Show" because that is what they do. It's all show, and no go, sometimes literally.

Pimp My Ride does have it's place in the world though. It takes people who have the most horrible cars in the world, usually kids who don't have any money and bust butt all day long, and spend like 20g's on it to make it look good. Basically it's MTV's version of Overhaulin', but without doing motor swaps or hiding it from people.

In all likelihood the wheels are "one offs".......machined specially for this car. Personally I think they are too large in diameter for the car but that seems to be the trend nowadays. I just can't get used to the ghetto look of these large wheels. The rest of the car is fantastic.......mucho $$$$$$$$$$$$$ in that baby!

I love almost every car he designs...he's got a TV show on TLC, I haven't seen it in awhile, but there was a El Camino that designed...SSSSICK!

You cant even compare that car to pimp my ride.
A) that car is 75% hand fabricated (Saw it on TLC the other day)
B) it is one of the most expensive builds Chip Foose has ever done due to fab.
C) It took several years to build, not a few days.

I saw it on the power tour,and its owned by a comedian I cant for the life of me remember his name ***is i think It was shown siting by an original restored of the same year (68 I think or 65 memory is bad) and it is totaly different. Very cool car but pimp my ride's budget couldnt even pay for half that car. Now I do like the show Overhaulin, as they dont just make it look good on the outside and leave the 900,000 mile engine in there.
