what is the compression ratio on the heads of a lt4 upgrade kit. looking to stroke motor but don'twant huge compression due to supercharging. thanks.

I believe its around 10.8:1 with the LT4 heads. The LT4 had the higher 10.8:1 compression ratio because of the smaller valve reliefs in the pistons, not because of any significant difference in combustion chamber volume. If you simply put LT4 heads on an engine with a stock LT1 piston, you won't really change the CR.
Of course, if you are going to seriously S/C the engine, your going to need a CR closer to 9.0-9.5:1, so you're going to have to change the pistons anyway. Plus, you wouldn't want to keep the hypereutectics with an S/C.
The alternative for a blower motor would be one of the AFR LT1/LT4 heads, or the new Trick Flow head with a larger combustion chamber.Fred
