  • Will the LS6 fit?

Quick questoin to someone that has maybe done this before, or knows if it can happen? I'm going over seas again, and i've concluded that im not spending the money on fixing the existing motor, but rather ill just put in the LS6 in it if it will work. Also, what else will i have to do? I plan on putting new gears in it, frame ties and a better suspension. Will i have to do anything else?? Incase your wondering what i drive, its in the signature.

I want that car so bad! I am very, very jealous!

    Yes, the LS6 will fit...

Essentially, the major differences between the LS1 and the LS6 is the cam, the heads, and the pistons I believe are a little higher compression. The block also has some small differences, but size is not one of them. Physically, it shouldn't take up any more engine bay space than your LS1.

Wow... this is awesome... good luck with everything.

Sorry to hear about your upcomming deployment. Hope ya get back soon. The LS6 will fit perfectly in place of your LS1.

I'd love to see the face of the unsuspecting when the schnitz hit's the fan

      Good luck and take care.
