  • 3.4L bored

i was just wondering what kind of hp and times (approx) i could get out of a 1993 3.4L camaro if i bore it out to 4.0L, and then possibly supercharge it later.

the reason i chose to bore it is becuase buying a 5.7L costs too much, so that kinda gets ruled out for a while atleast

I don't know what kind of HP increase you would achieve from the proposed mod to your V6, but I do know it would be wise for you to save the money you would invest in making your V6 go faster and save up for a LT1. Prices are ever falling and you would not recoupe the investments made on your V6 when it is time to sell it. Enjoy the time driving your V6 and save your pennies for a go fast car when the time is right. Just an opinion

thanks for the input, yea i do like driving the car overall. i get looks in it all the time, but the performance makes me mad. i cant even race civics without being afraid, and driving this kind of a car, it can be a letdown. i was just thinking about some decently affordable ways to get some better perfomance, atleast that way i can beat the all the damn rice burners that live around me
