    Throttle body gasket set?? Where to buy?

    I just got done cleaning up and lightly polishing my throttle body. It looks like new again, and I'd love to put it back together but I need the gaskets for it. I've looked around on the forum and found the "throttle body gasket" at Thunder Racing for $6. What about the other 2 gaskets? I need the one for the top plate and the bottom plate too. Does anyone have any idea how to order the complete set?

    I'm also missing one of the small torx screws that hold the IAS to the TB. Does anyone have one of those they could drop in the mail for me?

    TB Gasket Set


    You can just go to Auto Zone and tell them you need a T-20 torx screw for a 1996 LT1 TB.

      go right to the local gm dealer, its like $17 and it comes with all 4 gaskets, top, bottem, mounting, and the ring for the side

        Yep. The dealer was the only one I found that had the gaskets.

          Thanls for the replies guys. I just called the dealer and ordered the 4 piece kit. It'll be in tomorrow.

            I just called the dealer again about the screw. They want $20 for a complete throttle body screw kit.

            I also called 3 local parts places and all 3 said they dont carry screws like that. We dont have an autozone in Madison but I called the nearest one and they came up dry.

            Does anyone have one of these screws they could send to me so I dont gotta go burn $20.00? Pleeeeze? I'll post seperately about it and see if anyone bites.

              I love the dealer. When I stuck LT4 springs on my heads I need 2 new retainers (losT) so I got to the dealer only to find that they only sell them in sets of 5. Now how would any one in the word need five spring retainers. even if you needed a new set you would have to buy one less of 4 extra.
