NFB: Full throttle TV show

Has anyon seen that show on TLC called Full Throttle. I thing it is a pretty cool show but the only problem is the fact that the cars that i have seen on the show never seem to run better than 14's. The biggest disgrace was the episode with the Grand Nationals that ran like 14.50's at 90 mph. That really made my jaw drop. Does anyone else see a problem with that show.

I have a problem with it because of the two hosts, Marc and Eric Kozeluh. They started on TV on another show 'Super 2NR TV'. I watched it a couple times and saw nothing but rice.

It is a great idea for a show. I think they need to spend more time on rebuilding the cars. They also need to be a little more accurate.

They are doing 1975 Firebirds on this Sundays show on The History Channel.

I saw it. I even recorded the GN episode...I was disappointed. They did all that motor work, didn't touch the chip. All that motor work, didn't touch the suspension. All that motor work, didn't touch the fuel SUPPLY system. All that motor work, still not faster than my 87 was stock. Really couldn't believe they wouldn't replace the relay in the end to see who really built the faster car. The 240 Z episode was the worst. They talked up how great they were...couldn't even break the 17s. Ugh!!!

Yeah! That was really rotten. That relay had nothing to do with the work they had done on the car. I can't understand why they didn't just repair it and run the cars again. If it had been me I would have been really pissed to have lost because of something they gave me to start with. like I said earlier...It's a great idea for a show...I just don't think they are doing the idea justice.

Agree - those twin knobs drag it down with their NOPI culture and their 2 dopes=1 moron philosophy of car building. But I think it's funny that they consider the 14-15 sec cars they are building and testing fast - it shows what they were used to with the Super Tuner TV. I also questioned the things they were doing and saying when they refurbished the cars - it's just so dumb that I couldn't stand it, and I pretty much will watch any car show there is, so that isn't saying much.

I saw the Firebird episode. What a joke. Spraying a 150 shot and the couldn't better a low 14 if I remember correctly.

It's a great idea for a show, but at least give the ability to make something of the vehicles, and more time to work on them. And get rid of the tools....errr....hosts. They killed their names doing that Super 2NR TV.

Aw c'mon. They were perfect in showing us the PS2 controllers hanging out the window of a boat-painted civic with 3 hood scoops, a roof scoop, and a double decker wing who-wants-get-a-turbo-someday. Yeah, they were in their element there. But, I think Daffy and Donald Duck(s) could do a better job in this new show than those 2 clones.

Yeah sometimes i think to myself how cool it would be if they put late model 4th gen f-bodies on that show, but im sure they would find a way to mess that up.
