Ouch that hurt. Low blow ...............
Right now I am looking to see if it financially ok to upgrade to an 02 SS. If the deal is not good for me then I'll walk away and wont care, but I really want an LS1. I love my car but I would love a 01-02 SS

LOL this sounds like my brother and I. I'm dealing with my opti right now and had to pull the heads when I found a manifold bolt broke off in there. In the LT1's defense though he burns about 1-2 quarts every 3000 miles and bent the last two pushrods on the drivers side when he shifted into 2nd instead of 4th at around 85. When he did that he took it to the dealer and they told him to put in some stuff for his lifters and drive 500 miles. Didn't do a whole lot lol. The one had a good 30 degree bend in it I don't know how it stayed in place.
