  • Brake problem

Okay ya'll, here's my question. I have a 94z and I'm pretty sure it needs to have a new EBCM. The question is, if I want to buy a used one do I need to make sure it matches up with everything on mine or that it is just the same style being 94-97. Thanks for the help.

As long as it has the same Part number on it it will work, you may have to go to GM to see what part numbers have replaced the one you hve or even if there is one.

As long as it is the EBCM for an ABS 4th Gen. f-body WITHOUT TCS, I think you should be fine. What makes you think that the EBCM is shot?

Thanks for looking guys. I think its' the EBCM because the brakes are really soft and they do not pulsate, they will lock up when hard pressure is applied. Am I assuming right here or totally off?
