  • major performance upgrade

If anyone is thinking about getting headers I would most definetely have to recommend getting long tube SLP headers. They are awesome. I have them on my 2001 Formula along with the SLP loudmouth exhaust and the performance gains are incredible.

      I went with these:

Most aftermarket headers show similar power and torque gains... after my install, I threw down 345 rwhp and 360 rwtq. Based on average stock LS1 dyno numbers, that means I gained about 30 rwhp. The difference over stock is defintiely noticeable... ESPECIALLY on the 3-4 shift. I bang that shift now and the car throws me right back in my seat and keeps on truckin'

        soon on the Moroso track

I have not yet had a chance to to run my formula on the track yet. I will be going down south for Christmas break tomorrow. I am on my slp air lid to come in and should be hooking up my superchip in a week or two. I will post my results from the Moroso Motorsports track in West Palm as soon as I get a chance to run it.

            superchip

The Superchip is a microtuner that plugs in to the diagnostic port. I had one in my last z-28, and it seemed to help quite a bit. It changes things like the top speed, rev limiter, shifting firmness and points.

                superchips

It is exactly like a Hypertech programmer. They are a company based out of Orlando, Florida I think. It works very well in my experiences. I have had the superchip, and Hypertech before in cars. I prefer the superchip.
