I have a question for anyone with some knowledge of mass airflow sesnors. Which mass airflow sensor would give me more power? SLP or Granatelli? Thanks I love this forum it rocks!

From what i have heard, buying an aftermarket MAF is pretty much a waste of $$$. What i suggest is taking your stock one, and removing the screen that's inside of it. I noticed slightly better throttle response with that.
I suggest using the money for your MAF and spending it on something else that is more beneficial.
Just my $.02black 95 t/a, a4, beefed up tranny w/ higher stall converter, transgo shift kit, trans temp gauge, trans cooler, richmond 3.73's, loudmouth, hypertech programmer, 160 thermo, descreened maf, TB bypass and airfoil, trick flow intake elbow, underdrive pulleys, moroso cai, edelbrock panhard rod, bmr stb, slp sfc's, fiberglass firehawk hood, hawk pads, taylor wires, ngk plugs, royal purple fluids,...and hopefully more to come

MAF's seem to do more on the LS1's than they do on the LT1's. The Chris Endres book, Chevy LS1/LS6 Performance has two full pages, with photos on the LS1 MAF options. The MAF seems to have an affect on the spark timing in the LS'1s, for example.... something that has not been identified in the LT1's.
I strongly recommend the Endres book for anyone trying to gain an understanding of what it takes to build LS1's, from mild bolt-on engine to all out power adder monsters.
