Brake problem

My brother's girlfriend has a 97 camaro with a V-6. My brother said that yesterday the brakes got very touchy. He said you just barely touch the brake and all the tires lock up. He has checked the fluid and it is full, there is no abs light on. It has disc in the front and drums in the rear. Anyone have any suggestions?

I suspect that there are lines swelling. The rubber will begin to not hold adequate pressure and begin to bulge, you push a little harder and pressure comes up and suddenly the wheels lock. Have an assistant operate the brakes while you check the rubber lines to the caliper. The other possibility is that the ABS is not functioning and your dash light is inop.
