Ive opted out of spending 6 large on a 2000 dollar 94 firebird to make it an lt1 ,so maybe someone has some ideas for the 3.4 5 speed loser i own. please oh please help. I want it to be quick keeping in mind I found a trans am for 4500 dollars .

Without spending huge dough, you won't get it much faster than mid 15s. Performance modifications should be:
stock takeoff catback from a LT-1 car = $50
1 piece driveshaft from an LT-1 car= $50, 100+ for aluminum (better)
rear end assembly with 3.42s and discs from an LT-1 car ($250) takeoff

Cutout
those will get you solidly in the 15.5s
maybe not as quick as you hoped, but reasonable for an economy version with decent mileage.
