  • grease zerks on a '95 Z28

Anyone? I can't seem to find any... can someone clue me in as to how many I have, and where to look for them?

    Thanks!

The factory parts are sealed. You would have to install your own unless you replace the factory parts with aftermarket.

It's grease certs, and you do have some on your u-joints.

Ummm, my 93 has a couple in the front and they are the OEM pieces. I believe the lower ball joints are really the only things though, but don't quote me on that.

My 94 (bought it new) had no Zerk fittings anywhere on the car... not on the suspension, not on the U-joints.

It is zerk, my brain is fried from studying for my CCNA test. That's where the "cert" creeped into my brain and leaked out into my fingers.

96 and newer f-bods did away with the grease zerk fittings and made them sealed. I have personally seen 95 and older f-bodies with zerk fittings on the rack and pinion, lower a-arms, and u-joints. Even my factory driveshaft in my 97 TA had zerk fittings on the u-joints.

My 94 didnt have a single zert on it when I got it, and neither did either of my 2 95s.
