  • Fun country highways= new exhaust

Well today I found out that that wasn't just surface rust on my exhaust pipe. Hit a serious bump on a country road at about 55 and almost went airborne (probably not but it felt like it). It was one of those occaisions where they really could have used a "BUMP" sign. I got home and heard this rattling so i went and looked at the tailpipes and was like "Hey, it's the tailpipes rattling against the bumper. Wait ......why is the whole muffler swaying?" The exhaust broke at the the muffler and its now swinging. I'm gonna cut it off in the morning and try to decide what to do. I'm thinking about getting new headers in the spring but right now I need to take care of this problem.

On a stock exhaust what sounds better:

    1)stock muffler
    2)flowmaster
    3)dual catback glasspacks

If you have any sound clips I'd like to hear them.
We'll save the header discussion until spring (I'm just playing with the idea). Just want your opinions on the muffler/s

I have the flowmaster on mine and they sound pretty good, but they are a little too raspy for my taste. I'd highly recommend borla, although borla definately isn't the cheapest.
